Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrics Education
The Division of Developmental–Behavioral Pediatrics at NYU Langone offers a three-year Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)–accredited fellowship; a mandatory one-month rotation for pediatrics residents; and an elective and selective for medical students.
Trainees and students observe and participate in evaluating and managing children and adolescents with developmental–behavioral conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disability, speech–language disorders, learning disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, and anxiety disorders, as well as associated issues such as problems with feeding or sleep.
