Pathology Seminar Series

Our department seminar series features leading scientists in cell, molecular, and computational biology whose research is focused on understanding the basic mechanisms of disease pathophysiology.

Seminars take place on Mondays from 1:15 to 2:15PM in the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine third floor seminar room, unless otherwise indicated.

Pathology Grand Rounds

Our department grand rounds series features presentations from clinical and translational pathologists. The audience for these seminars is clinical pathologists, residents, and fellows.

Pathology Grand Rounds take place on Mondays from 1:15 to 2:15PM in the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine third floor seminar room, unless otherwise indicated.

Ion Channels and Transporters in Immunity Seminar Series

The Ion Channels and Transporters in Immunity seminar series features leading scientists working on physiological, immunological, and structural aspects of ion channels and transporters in the immune system, with a special emphasis on mechanisms of disease pathophysiology.

Seminars take place on the third Wednesday of each month from 11:00AM to 12:00PM in the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine third floor seminar room, unless otherwise indicated.

Pathology Works in Progress Seminars

The Department of Pathology hosts several Works in Progress seminars, in which graduate students, postdocs, residents, and fellows present their ongoing research to their peers and faculty.

Molecular Oncology and Tumor Immunology

This seminar series is part of the Molecular Oncology and Tumor Immunology PhD Training Program and is focused on research in progress in the fields of molecular oncology and tumor immunology, featuring the research of trainees in the labs of program-associated faculty.

Seminars take place every week on Tuesdays from 5:00PM to 6:00PM.

Immunology and Inflammation

This seminar series is part of the Immunology and Inflammation PhD Training Program and is focused on research in progress in the fields of immunology and inflammation, featuring the research of trainees in the labs of program-associated faculty.

Seminars take place every week on Wednesday from 3:00PM to 4:15PM.

Translational Research

This seminar series is focused on research in progress in the field of translational pathology, featuring the work of residents and fellows in pathology labs associated with the Translational Research Program.

Seminars take place every third Friday of the month from 12:00PM to 1:00PM in Medical Science Building room 588.

Resident Seminar Series

The Pathology Residency hosts several seminar series in which residents present their ongoing research and relevant published work to their peers and faculty.

This seminar series is part of residency training and features relevant publications in anatomic and clinical pathology journals.

Seminars take place the first Tuesday of every month from 12:00PM to 1:00PM via Webex.

Resident Grand Rounds

This seminar series is given by pathology residents who focus on their research in progress and relevant educational topics in anatomic and clinical pathology.

Pathology Annual Retreat

The Department of Pathology hosts a day-long annual retreat at which faculty and trainees present and discuss their work in the form of featured seminars and a scientific poster session. The retreat also features leading scientists from outside NYU Langone who present their cutting-edge research on topics related to pathology and the main theme of the retreat, which changes from year to year.
