Annual Education Awards
The 2024 Educator Community’s awards program recognizes faculty at NYU Grossman School of Medicine for their outstanding contributions to medical education and service as role models for future generations. Awards span both undergraduate medical education (UME) and graduate medical education (GME). Faculty are honored in four distinct categories: Rising Educator, Excellence in Educational Scholarship, Distinction in Education, and Excellence in Educational Innovation. Additional award categories include the Excellence in Diversity in Education and Basic Medical Sciences Educator of the Year awards. This year, two new awards were introduced: the Award for Excellence in Student Development and the Award for Excellence in Resident/Fellow Development.
