General Internal Medicine & Clinical Innovation Research Partnerships
The Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Innovation advances compassionate quality medical care for the people we serve. Through our research collaborations across NYU Grossman School of Medicine, NYU Langone Health, affiliated agencies, and external organizations, we are making strides toward our core goal of improving the health of patients across diverse healthcare settings with strategies that are both practical to implement and translatable beyond our walls.
Our faculty bring expertise in improving medical education, disease prevention, and chronic disease care for urban populations to all of our research partnerships. A few of the many collaborative projects we are working on include partnering with the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care to enhance primary care for older patients with diabetes, including those with dementia. We also collaborate with the Department of Population Health and Division of Hospital Medicine to study ways of transforming outpatient clinical practice to improve health outcomes and reduce costs, and the New York Simulation Center for Health Sciences (NYSIM) to bring the latest education and training resources to the study of patient safety and medical education.
Our Partners
We look forward to continued research collaboration with our partners, as well as to new opportunities with other institutions and organizations.
